Many members of the computer-fluent community engage daily in an activity called peer to peer sharing or sometimes called “torrenting.” Torrenting is a highly popular peer-to-peer file-sharing activity that allows participants to send and receive files from other computers. Although it’s often used for purposes that may border on copyright infringement, such as the sharing of music, it has widespread legitimate use in many programs and systems in the world.
So what is torrent? A torrent file stores metadata used for torrent client or software. In a conventional Internet download, a file or group of files is transmitted from one computer (usually a server) to another computer (a client). Data is keep in a central location and is retrieved by request of a user.
A torrent, however, distributes data differently on many levels. Firstly, a .torrent file is not the actual file being retrieved. The .torrent file is merely data which has information about the file that the user is seeking. The .torrent file is, in a sense, a sort of index of the file being retrieved. The torrent divides the target file into a series of equally sized pieces that are each assigned an identifying checksum.
The transfer of the torrent file is done between many different peers. Rather than the data being transferred from one machine to other, the various pieces of the file are held on many different computers. The torrent client communicates with other peers in order to check which pieces they have and exchanges them for the ones they need. In this way, transferring files via a torrent is sort of like a lightning fast.
Torrent file sometimes fast depending on the number of seeders and peers. When you have a lot of seeders and less of peers, more likely you will have higher download speed but this is not what usually happen especially in high demand files. So I am going to share with you how to manage and download torrent files ten times faster or even more. The highest download speed I ever achieved is 1.1 mbps with a network speed limited only to 2mbps. If you have higher network speed, you can surely attain higher numbers than mine.
First is you needed to sign up a free account on torrific home site. Signing up is free and you don’t even need to verify your registration and you can start downloading right away.
So how does it works? All you have to do is to look for a direct link of a torrent file.
So how does direct link look like? It looks like this: www.example.com/filename.torrent .
Where can i look for torrent files?
I often look or download torrent files in piratebay, plunder, anime&movie torrent or you can simply type in google the filename and then followed by torrent word so it will look like this: glee torrent
How can i get the direct download link of a torrent file? You simply right click on the download link of the file and choose copy link address then copy and paste it to the get box of torrific. After you paste the link, you click get and you will be directed to a new page, simply click initiate. Below is an image of how it will look like.
Below is the image of how your torrent files will look like after being processed. You can also select which of the bundled files you are going to download first by clicking the file name. It is also safer to download the file one by one than to download a 3 gigabyte file at once and then your network suddenly times out. Who knows, just saying! Enjoy!
