INDUSTRIAL AND DOMESTIC TIMER

As We Know is Timing is one of Vital parameter in every means. Without Proper timing success can't be achieve. So Considering The importance of timing in Industries and daily life here a project.   

Circuitry of INDUSTRIAL AND DOMESTIC TIMER

SOME FEATURES OF THE PROJECT ARE
a.) 32 alarm settings for 8 relays including on off but the number of alarms can easily be increased upto 46.
b.) 16x2 LCD and 5 push buttons for user interface.
c.) Microchip PIC16F877A as controller and DS1307 to manage time.
d.) PIC16F877A’s internal eeprom to store alarm settings.
e.) PIC’s code is written in Hi-Tech PIC C compiler.

PROCEDURE TO SET TIME
a.)Press Time button then lcd displays the following menu

Now press up down button to set second when second is set press time button again continue this process for minutes and hours finally when you press time button after you set hours menu appears to set date as below.

Now repeat the same process as you did for time next screen asks to set week as shown below

Now press up down button to set week and finally press time button to set week and time and date setting is finished.

To set alarms press alarm button then lcd displays the following menu
AN:01 indicates that you are setting alarm number 1. Press up down button to set required second and now you have to press alarm button to jump to minutes and hours, after you set hours and press alarm button lcd displays menu to set Relay number and status. Now press up button to select relay number and down button to select relay status, next when you press alarm button lcd displays next menu to set AN:02 i.e alarm number 02, after you set required number of alarms press time button next lcd displays how many alarms you have set, and returns to main menu.

PROCEDURE TO ENABLE AND DISABLE ALL ALARMS
On the main menu at the end of first line AS-ON or AS-OFF is displayed just press alarm on off button to toggle the state.

ADDED FUTURE FEATURES 
a.) Monitoring temperature to control relay.
b.) Adding week exceptions.
c.) Directly controlling alarm number which you need.
d.) Using infrared remote instead of switches.
